Evaluating the Evidence in CBD’s Medical and Therapeutic Potential

CBD becomes popular because of the benefits it holds for treating treatment-resistant forms in many illnesses and conditions like diabetes, epilepsy and cancer. It also has a wide range of medical benefits from reducing nausea and vomiting to combating inflammatory disorders, and even neurodegenerative disorders. CBD’s capacity to affect a wide range of our receptor system made it the best basis for its potential in medical and therapeutic use.

Perhaps the most extraordinary thing about CBD is the increasing list of its therapeutic applications in treating human disorders and investigating its psychological effect through animal testing. These conclusions are being backed up by different researches, studies and different levels of evidence.

A number of clinical trials, research and testing the efficacy of CBD are currently underway in almost any part of the world. Clinical trials and researches allow us to draw conclusions and build evidences about the safety and effectivity of the experiment in question. Although because most of the tests are conducted in animals and not in humans, its own strength and weaknesses comes with it, and the results do not always lead to clinical application. More stronger and concrete research outcome will be required before we can seriously accept it for human applications.  Nonetheless, these studies and testing equip us with better foundation of discovery and knowledge.
